
Honorary
Advisors
Nominations for five Honorary Advisors were made
at the early days of the Leadership Training Association
in recognition of their contribution to the formation
and subsequent development of the Association.
They are:
Mr. Michael Hoff,
Director of Institute of Cultural Affairs Hong
Kong, course designer and chief trainer for the
Leadership Training Course for 1990 to 1993. Mike
relocated back to the United States of America
in 1993.
Miss. Amy Kwong,
organizer for the Leadership Training Course in
1990.
Dr. W. K. Lo, Managing
Director, Surface Mount Technology (Holdings) Ltd.,
sole financial sponsor for the Leadership
Training Course since 1990. A Chartered Electrical
Engineer by profession, Dr. Lo has a distinguished
record in professional and social services which
included the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Awards
in 1992, the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong
Kong in 1992 and an appointed member of the Shatin
District Board.
Mr. Daniel Lam,
Champion and architect of the Leadership Training
Association. Mr. Lam, an accountant by profession
is currently a freelance consultant.
Mr. Johnny Leung,
facilitator of the Leadership Training Course
in 1990, is a Chartered Electrical Engineer by
profession. Mr. Leung is currently a Managing Director
of Virtual Semiconductor Ltd.
The above nominations were officiated at the
first Annual General Meeting of the Leadership
Training Alumni in 1992.
Mr. Alan Kwan,
founder and Chairman of Leadership Training Alumni
for 1992 and 1993 was nominated as Honorary Advisor
in 1994. Mr. Kwan is currently a Managing Director
of Cona Electronics Co Ltd.
Mr. Albert Chan Ka-Ming,
facilitator of the Leadership Training Course
in 1990, was nominated as Honorary Advisor in
1999. Mr. Chan is currently a Senior Manager of
ICBC International Group.
Mr. Henry Ho, Chairman
of Leadership Training Association for 1997 and
1998, was nominated as Honorary Advisor in 1999.
Mr. Ho is currently the Executive Director of
UBS Securities Asia Limited.
Prof. Kwok Siu-Tong,
Dean of Faculty of Arts of the Chinese University
of Hong Kong, was nominated as Honorary Advisor
in 2001.
Mr. Wong Law-Fai,
Executive director of Wan Chung Group of companies,
was nominated as Honorary Advisor in 2001.
Honorary Auditor
Mr. Chi-Hung Man
has been offering his professional service to
the Association as Honorary Auditor since its
official establishment in 1992. Mr. Man, a Chartered
Accountant, also attended the first Leadership
Training Course conducted in 1990.
Honorary Legal Advisor
Miss. Stephanie Wan,
participant of the class of 1993, is a solicitor
by profession with legal firm, Johnson Stokes
& Master and has been offering her professional
service to the Association as Honorary Legal Advisor
since 1994.
Honorary Public Relations Advisor
Miss. Sharon Au, participant of the class of
1992, was nominated as Honorary Public Relations
Advisor in 1995.
